Today Asher stood beside me while I was making dinner, looked up at me with those beautiful blue eyes, and said, “Mom, you are the nicest mommy ever!”
“Oh, Asher,” I gushed. “That makes me so happy to hear you say that!” I’d had a rough day and hearing his sweet words really did boost my mood.
“What makes me nice?” I asked curiously, still enjoying the compliment and ready for more.
“Well,” Asher began. “You make us yummy food. And you take care of our babies and feed them. And you are always so nice with me and you love me.”
I hugged him and kissed him and thanked him. What a sweet boy!! He really did make my day!
