Baby Names

By withasmile

I don’t keep my baby names a secret. I like to share the names we love and are considering. I figure that if people have negative opinions on a name I’d like to consider those view points. And if someone uses the same name I’ve chosen, they just better not be offended when I use it too. ;)

So here are out top choices…

For a girl Rick and I absolutely love Allison Nathylie. Nathylie (pronouced with a th sound) is my grandmother’s name. Nana passed away 3.5 years ago and I want to honor her. When Brenna was born we were debating between Brenna and Allison so Allison is obviously a name we’ve loved for years. If this little one is a girl, she will definitely be our Alli. Other names on our girls list are Emily, Kate, and Lily.

For a boy, my favorite name is Asher William. William is after my dad, and Asher is just a name I love. I also like it’s meaning, “happy.” Rick doesn’t love it as much as I do, but he likes it and would use it. Other boy names that we both like are Jacob, Spencer, Paxton, Gavin, and Benson. I personally like Malachi, but Rick doesn’t care for it. I just need time to convince him! :)

So I figure we can have 15 kids using the names on our list plus Malachi for our youngest son. :)

Hey! :) I was wondering how you have been so I thought I’d pop by and check up on you. I am commenting on THIS post in particular to say I think you have chosen wonderful names! Especially the girl name! (Since I have an Allison as well. lol) Congratulations again!

I also wanted to say thank you for all your help in the beginning of our Celiac journey. I remember early on how hard and frustrating it was. I remember crying in the grocery store not knowing what to buy. And I remember you telling me that it DOES get easier. And you were right! I have learned to read labels more carefully, look for things that are as close to the “normal” stuff as possible and whatever I can’t find already made, I have learned to make it myself. Things are SO much easier now and Hayleigh is enjoying a whole new list of foods. I never thought we’d get here where I thought it was easy, but we did! :)

Email me and let me know how things are going! Talk to you soon!
